An exhilarating overnight tour, including a visit and tasting at one of the Maipo Valley’s top wineries and relaxing in the natural hot springs of Baños Colinas, surrounded by Andean peaks. The following day, you’ll hike well into El Morado National Park for spectacular close-up views of the San Francisco Glacier and pristine Andean lakes.
Day 1 – Maipo Valley & Hot Springs:
After a 45 minute drive from Santiago you will arrive in Pirque, in the heart of the Maipo Valley, for a visit and tasting at Haras de Pirque. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in Pirque at Fundacion Origen before being heading to Lodge Andino, where you will spend the night.

Day 2 – El Morado National Park:
The dramatic peaks of El Morado National Park are some of best places to experience Andean glaciers. Your guide will meet you at your Santiago hotel to depart for your mountain adventure. After a 2 hour drive from Santiago, you will begin your hike at Baños Morales hot springs, then trek to Laguna Morales, a small lake at 7,874 feet (2,400 meters) above sea level. After a picnic lunch, you will continue along trail until you arrive at the San Francisco Glacier, one of twenty nine Chilean glaciers, which has a considerable impact on the nation’s landscape and water supply. Following the same trail, you’ll head back to the vehicle for some refreshments before driving into the mountains for a luxurious soak in the natural hot springs of Baños Colina, a spectacular setting surrounded by Andean peaks. You’ll settle in for the evening at the cozy Refugio Lo Valdes. This tour involves four to five hours of moderate hiking.
