Day 1

Welcome to Chile! Your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you straight to the slopes – Ski Portillo. What better way to warm up your legs in preparation for your days of cat and heli-skiing/boarding than at South America’s premier boutique ski resort. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to the mountain town of Los Andes, where you will  check in to Casa San Regis, an historic 19^th-century hacienda. A former manor home on an expansive 40,000 acre estate, Casa San Regis is now a boutique bed & breakfast, offering comfortable accommodations with a traditional flair. Your Chilean hosts, Marcela and Alexis, offer warm hospitality and personalized service, often joining guests for dinner and sharing insight into local culture and history. The roaring fireplace in the living room is an excellent place to sit and enjoy après ski after a long day of skiing.

Day 2 

Adventure skiing in the shadow of Mt. Aconcagua. Fantastic views of the summit (the highest peak outside the Himalayas) await you atop Valle El Arpa, South America’s only snowcat resort. In an anything-but-typical day, you’ll ski over 13,000 vertical feet of some of the best untracked powder in the world.

Day 3, 4, 5 

Full days of heliskiing in the amazing Central-North zone. This is all new terrain accessed by Santiago Adventures as an alternative to the more saturated zones near Tres Valles and Cajon del Maipo.

Day 6 

On your final day of skiing, you’ll return to Valle El Arpa to wrap up an amazing week of skiing and riding in the Andes.

Day 7 

You’ll spend the day relaxing and visiting one of the internationally-recognized Chilean wineries located in the valley. In the afternoon, your guide will transfer you to the airport or to your Santiago hotel.

• Three days of heli skiing in private helicopter with a total of 9 hours of flight time – Bell 407 or Eurocopter B3.
• Guided skiing with internationally certified mountain guide with extensive experience in snow safety and guiding in the Andes

Casa San Regis: A beautifully maintained 18^th-century hacienda, Casa San Regis provides an authentic Chilean experience which is hard to find at the main ski resorts. This bed & breakfast style hotel is the closest to Ski Arpa Cat Skiing (about 1 hour away).  The staff is warm and welcoming, embodying the best of Chilean hospitality. Large, comfortable dining and lounging areas showcase the original architecture. Both breakfast and dinner are included.
