Chile’s most coastal wine region, the San Antonio Valley is a relatively new appellation, but one that is increasingly capturing international attention for the quality of its aromatic white wines (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Gris, Riesling, and Gewürztraminer) and spicy reds (Pinot Noir and cool-climate Syrah). In addition to great wine, San Antonio’s hidden backroads provides some of the best cycling in Chile’s Central Valley.
