Located 5 hours south of Santiago, Chillan gets high marks for snow conditions, weather, terrain and infrastructure. With tree skiing on the lower slopes, groomers leading from the peak to the base, expansive off-piste terrain, an active volcano, and a 5-star hotel at the base with world class spa facilities. This is Chile’s most complete Ski and Spa center, featuring an assortment of meticulously groomed runs. Volcanic eruptions and lava flows have formed unique pistes, bowls, and natural half pipes, meaning there is no shortage of entertaining runs.

Ski weeks at Chillan begin on Saturdays. The season is scheduled to run June 21 thru October 5.

With a spa, thermal pools, and cozy rooms, hotel Nevados de Chillan is a more affordable alternative to the luxurious pampering of the Gran Hotel, though its amenities and service are hardly comparable with the Gran Hotel.
