Day 1: Mendoza, Argentina
Your local guide will meet you at Mendoza International Airport to drive you to your hotel, where you’ll have time to settle in before taking a tour of the city. This evening, enjoy a special dinner at one of Mendoza’s top restaurants which offers excellent national and international cuisine and an excellent wine list.

Day 2: Lujan de Cuyo
Our day begins just south of Mendoza in the Lujan de Cuyo area. One of Argentina’s most traditional wine regions, Lujan de Cuyo is home to many of the nation’s top wineries and finest Malbec. First, we’ll visit Tapiz winery, where we will taste wines directly from the American and French oak barrels in which they are aged. Next, we’ll tour Achaval Ferrer, known for producing some of Argentina’s most prestigious wines. Then, we’ll head for a tasting at Ruca Malen, followed by a lunch of Argentine beef, specially prepared by the winery’s chef, Lucas. Our final stop of the day will be a personal visit with one of Mendoza’s renowned pioneering winemakers, Carmelo Patti, who will share with us his passion for winemaking while preparing special barrel tastings.

Day 3: Valle de Uco
Today we will visit the new frontier in Argentina winemaking, the spectacular high-altitude growing region of Valle de Uco. The snow-capped Andes loom in the background as vineyards spread into the foothills. Our first visit is to Bodega Pulenta Estate, where we will tour the exceptionally designed winery and taste excellent wines in their unique tasting room. Next, we visit Bodega Lurton, whose owners (two French brothers) chose Valle de Uco because they saw amazing potential for greatness. Their winery is equipped with the latest technology, and we will taste right from the tanks. For lunch, we will visit Bodega Altus, which has a great architectural design and cozy Mendocino decor. In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner and a tango show at Almacen de Tango, Mendoza´s premiere tangueria.

Day 4: Mendoza Airport
In the morning, you will check out of your hotel and drive to the Mendoza Airport for your flight.
